Drive some of your favourite sports cars through wild and fast tracks, including the Dodge Viper, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porshe, Corvette, Mazda RX7, Toyota Supra Turbo, and Acura NSX. Some of the tracks are open road, meaning you simply fly down a huge highway, with cops following in hot pursuit. One of the options in the game allows you to pick which time of the day to race in.

Much like the first in the series, NFS2 has plenty of high performance cars to choose from, including the McLaren F1 or Ferrari F50 and a few concept cars. The main difference between this and the previous Need for Speed game is the tracks, with less open road tracks in this sequel, and no cops to chase you. But the tracks available are very detailed, and some have changing weather conditions while you race.

This is the same good Need for Speed 2 only with some major enhancements on the 3d topic. However, since the Voodoo 3d acceleration cards were the only dominant in 1997, this game has only extended in that direction, and that is that it supports 3Dfx. Now, if you have some of the Voodoo cards, you’ll be able to test all the cars and tracks once again, just in a bit of smoothly presentation then before. However, if you do not have 3Dfx card, you can still play this game as the original NFS II.

Need For Speed: Underground is the seventh game in the long running Need For Speed racing series. Underground revolves around illegal nighttime streetracing with heavily modified import cars and has been greatly influenced by the movie “The Fast And The Furious” and its sequel.. This installment in the Need for Speed series, Underground 2 is a racing game based on illicit, night time races, with the player gaining street credit, cash and access to unique tuner parts by schooling the competition.

Taking place in a massive, open city, NFS Underground 2 allows players to explore the city at will, engaging random challengers and moving into the coveted Underground Racing League. Once in the Underground Racing League, the player advances first by race wins, then with building up their tuner car and taking on tougher opponents. The objective is to win all Underground Racing League engagements and trick out your car to the max.

The PC version is the only version that allows the user to save magazine screen shots of your tricked out car to disk.
